On September 15, join us for an opening reception and gallery talk with artist Sarah Beth Baca. Her show, “Full Image: Women of the Bible,” will open at Christ Church on September 15, and the reception will be that evening from 5-7pm.
“Full Image: Women of the Bible” features half-portraits of women in the Bible, from Eve to Priscilla and everyone in between.
Each portrait contains symbols, colors, and themes that relate to the culture, region, origin, family, age, or ethnicity of that particular woman. These half portraits are designed to inspire conversation and empower individuals to boldly live out their own stories.
Sarah Beth will discuss her work and take questions around 6pm.
